Came to GF for Youth State Bowling Tournament & it’s always on our to-do list to try new & local places. We had planned to go for dinner on Saturday, but ended up going on Sunday. We didn’t realize they only offer a Brunch Menu, but we were not disappointed. The food, the staff, everything was amazing. The energy & vibe was great. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

I loved having you in EGF, it was our date night spot. We ventured over to Grand Forks last night. I was impressed. Such a great spot you have. Jenny helped us and she was fantastic, we shared so many laughs our faces hurt, just down to earth and made sure we were taken care of. We had such a great time and agreed the Spud Jr will continue to be our spot, with or without the kids, the setup is great, the food is always awesome. Thank you. You guys definitely don’t get enough credit!
Awesome brunch. Food is 10/10 and a great addition to Grand Forks which is light on great brunch places. We’ve already been twice and it will be a regular spot for us. Atmosphere and service were both awesome both times too. Excited to see this place succeed. Will definetely try for dinner sometime too. Well done Spud Jr. all the luck in your new home!
I love the new location for the Spud Jr! My partner and I sat on the bar side and it was so cool to check out their decorations celebrating the end to prohibition. The beer on tap was a good selection, the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious! We were excited to try the tater kegs, which looked like the Midwest’s proud response to “quatro quesos dos fritos,” (if you’ve ever seen the tv show Psych, you’ll understand) and we were not disappointed, but the cheese curds were absolutely outstanding and made good beer even better! If you’re looking for a good spot to hang out on a Friday after work, consider The Spud Jr!
We've been to The Spud Jr a few times since moving here last summer. We think their poutine is the best in town! We went to their new location yesterday and really liked the chicken sriracha ranch poutine. I also like their sweet potato fries. I ordered chips and salsa this time, but I didn't like the salsa recipe. It tasted too much like tomato or marinara sauce to me personally which isn't what I was expecting with tortilla chips. We liked the new location and the space around the seating.
came here with a group of girls for mimosas and the place itself is beautiful, i loved the interior design and atmosphere. the seating was really sick and they had a few old school arcade machines (also sick)! when we walked in, a waitress complimented me immediately and when we got to our table, our waitress Jori was super sweet as well. mimosas were fantastic and i will have to return with my husband to try some food (& more drinks!)
